Mrs. Canerday is the fourth grade teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School. In addition to being a classroom teacher, she is also very involved with our school’s PTO and is our Social Media Manager. Mrs. Canerday was borned and raised in Tennessee where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from the University of West Alabama. 

In addition to her three years at SJS, she spent three years teaching fifth-grade and one year teaching kindergarten in the public school setting. In between her teaching endeavors, Mrs. Canerday worked for Tennessee Early Intervention System through the Tennessee Department of Education where she served children and families of infants and young children with developmental delays or disabilities.

Mrs. Canerday is married to her husband, Justin, and together they have three children-Neyland, Nolan, and Hadlee who all attend St. Joseph School. Outside of school, you can find her with a blanket and a book, hanging out with friends and family, or spending time in nature.
