Adam is an alumnus of both Saint Joseph in Florence and Saint Bernard High School in Cullman, Alabama. He then attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee where he graduated with a B.S. in Physics. After returning home to Florence, he studied teaching at The University of North Alabama. He began working as a tutor and substitute teacher before going on to teach science at various high schools including Saint Bernard and Kipp Memphis Collegiate High School. Adam has taught a wide variety of subjects at the high school level, including Marine Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, and Robotics. The robotics class competed in the 2013 BEST Robotics competition at Northwest Shoals Community College.
Adam always had a passion for integrating technology in the classroom, such as using slow-motion video and tracking software on falling objects to measure gravity. He decided to follow this passion in a different direction by studying software and web development online while also returning to Saint Joseph where he helps run the afterschool EDP program and the technology classes.
